General FAQs

  • Question:Are dogs allowed?

    Answer:

    Dogs are welcome at Clarach Bay Holiday Village, but only in selected types of accommodation. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times. Dogs are not permitted on the beach at certain times of year.

  • Question:Are Motorhomes welcome at Clarach?

    Answer:

    I’m afraid we can not accommodate motorhomes.

  • Question:Are towels provided?

    Answer:

    Towels are provided in our Platinum and Lodge accommodations. For all other accommodation types, guests need to bring their own.

  • Question:Can I book if I am under the age of 18?

    Answer:

    We are keen to keep our holiday parks exclusively for family and adult holidays, therefore we are sorry that we cannot accept bookings from anyone under the age of 18, whether singly, in couples or groups.

  • Question:Can I request a brochure?

    Answer:

    We no longer produce brochures. All the information about the parks and accommodation, including up to date prices and offers can be found on the site. 

  • Question:Do we allow all male or all female groups?

    Answer:

    We cater for families and couples and do not accept bookings from all male or all female parties of three or more persons. We also reserve the right to refuse any booking.

  • Question:Do you have any pitches for tents?

    Answer:

    I'm afraid we do not offer camping pitches.

  • Question:Do you supply bedding?

    Answer:

    Yes, all of our accommodation include linen.

  • Question:What is your holiday availability and price?

    Answer:

    Why not use our handy holiday search at the top of each page to find the price of holidays that you might be interested in.

  • Question:When does our swimming pool open?

    Answer:

    Our indoor pools are open from the Easter half term to the 31st of October.

Sales FAQs

  • Question:Can I let family and friends use my caravan?

    Answer:

    Yes. We're always delighted to see new faces. They can also benefit from free access to our Showboat Club, but it is your responsibility to make sure that they are aware of the need to respect the same rules as all the owners abide by.

  • Question:Do you sell pre–used caravans?

    Answer:

    Yes. As well as the fabulous range of brand new caravans for sale, we also offer excellent value used caravans that have been maintained to the highest standard and are available at very affordable prices.

  • Question:How much are your site fees and what do they include?

    Answer:

    Site fees start from £3,595 per year and always include VAT, water and sewerage rates, Owners have passes to the Showboat Club and Indoor Heated Swimming pool.

  • Question:What if I still have questions?

    Answer:

  • Question:When does our swimming pool open?

    Answer:

    Our indoor pools are open from the Easter half term to the 31st of October.

  • Question:When is the park open and when do they close?

    Answer:

    We make sure that we are open for as long a season as possible to ensure that our owners have every opportunity to get the most from their caravans. This means that the season starts on 1st March and ends on 10th January.

  • Question:Would I need to pay any council tax fees?

    Answer:

    No, there are no council tax fees on our Caravans and Lodges

Flex FAQs

  • Question:How long after the original booking can I move my holiday to?

    Answer:

    Clarach Flex allows you to move your Holiday to within 12 months from the date of your original booking.

  • Question:How many times can I change my booking?

    Answer:

    Clarach Flex entitles you to make 1 free-of-charge amendment to your original booking. (Further amendments will incur an administration fee of £30 each).

  • Question:What if I want to move my holiday to a time/location which costs less than my original holiday?

    Answer:

    In the event that your amended booking attracts a lower booking rate than your original or last booking (if you have previously amended your booking), the difference in price between your bookings will be applied as a credit against any future booking with us and will be valid for a period of 12 months from the date of your original booking.

  • Question:What if I want to move my holiday to a time/location which costs more than my original holiday?

    Answer:

    In the event that your amended booking attracts a higher booking rate, than your original or last booking (if you have previously amended your booking), you have to pay any rate difference.
