Clarach Bay Terms & Conditions

1. The person who makes the booking is responsible for the booking and warrants that they are over 21 years of age and that the party will not exceed the allocated number.

2. The appropriate deposit must be paid within 3 days of making a booking.

3. The balance of the tariff is payable 28 days before the date of
commencement of the holiday and failure to make such payments may be treated by the company as cancellation of the booking.

4. We cater for families and couples and do not accept bookings from all male or all female parties or persons under 21 years of age.

5. Due to the fact that all our caravans are regularly upgraded with new models, the layout will occasionally differ from that shown in the brochure.

6. Accommodation is available from 3.00pm on the stated day of arrival and must be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure.
Touring pitches are available from 1pm on the stated day of arrival and must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure.

7. Accommodation keys must be claimed before 6pm. Guests are asked to advise reception if they do not expect to arrive by 5pm.

8. If you have not arrived by 9am the morning after your holiday was due to commence, or contacted us to confirm when you will arrive, we will treat the holiday as cancelled and the total holiday costs will be retained. (Please note we have no key issue facility after 10:00pm on day of arrival).

9. Inventories should be checked by the hirer on arrival and any shortages must be reported to reception immediately.

10. Protective sheets must be used on beds used by young children in hired accommodation.

11. At the end of your stay the accommodation will be checked and must be found satisfactory before any key deposit is refunded. Touring guests are required to hand toilet and shower facility keys back to the reception in order for their key deposit to be refunded.

12. Any damage or breakages must be paid.

13. Lost property. Any personal items/property to be sent on via post having being left behind on departure will carry a minimum charge of £10.

14. Neither the Company nor its servants or agents accept liability for any personal injury, loss or damage which may be sustained by the applicants or their property during the period they or any members of their party are at the park except if it arises from negligence by the company, its servants or agents.

15. Only applicants listed on the booking form shall be entitled to occupy the accommodation allocated for their use and any breach of this condition shall entitle the company to terminate the booking and to exclude forthwith from the park both the unauthorised persons together with the applicants.
Unauthorised persons shall be deemed trespassers.

16. Dogs and pets are not allowed at any time unless by prior arrangement with the management. In the interests of hygiene we ask that owners bring the dogs own basket and bedding, as dogs are not permitted on the seating.

Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times, are not allowed in any buildings and owners are responsible for their behaviour. Dogs must not be left unattended in caravans.

Should a dog be a nuisance at any time, the park owners reserve the right to have it removed immediately. We ask owners to exercise their dogs off the park whenever possible and away from play areas. However ‘accidents’ do happen and we ask the owners to do the reasonable thing and clear the mess themselves.

17. Only one dog allowed per booking, in selected Pembroke models.

18. On park facilities are let on concession, are operated under private management and are open from Easter until the end of the season, though sometimes they may be closed during quieter periods and inclement weather.

19. There is a 2% surcharge on all payments by Credit Card.

20. In the event of a booking being cancelled within 28 days before commencement date of the holiday, the applicants will be liable to the company for a proportion of the total holiday cost, which shall include the deposit in accordance with the following scale:
Cancelled between 28 and 14 days before commencement:
Lose 30%
Cancelled between 13 and 1 day before commencement:
Lose 60%
Cancelled on day of arrival or afterwards commencement:
Lose 100%

21. It is with regret that no refunds can be given if guests depart prior to their departure date, unless they do so as the result of the breach of some obligation on our part that would justify cancelling the holiday.

 

Holiday Behaviour Standards and Termination
By making a booking with us you have entered a contract in which you undertake, on behalf of yourself and the people in your party (including children) to adopt the following standards of behaviour:

To act in a courteous and considerate manner towards us, our staff and other guests.

2. To supervise children properly so that they are not a nuisance or danger to themselves or others. You further agree that you will not:

3. Commit any criminal offence at the park or undertake any criminal activity.

4. Commit any acts of vandalism or nuisance.

5. Keep or carry any firearms or any other weapon on the park.

6. Use any unlawful drugs.

7. Create any undue noise or disturbance.

8. Carry on any trade or business while on the park.

Quiet hours are from 9.00pm until 7.00am. Please respect your fellow guests and keep noise to an absolute minimum.

Showboat Club - Conditions and Information

1.
Our full weekly entertainment programme commences Whitsun and ends 31st August 2008.

2. Showboat Club membership is offered free to applicants over 18 years of age.

3. By completing the booking form you have automatically applied for membership to the Showboat Club. Hirer’s names are registered at the Showboat Club.

4. Children under the age of 18 years are welcome in the Showboat Club but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

5. The quoted entertainments may vary due to conditions outside management control and the management therefore reserve the right to amend or cancel accordingly without prior notice.

6. During evening opening hours guests are required to wear smart dress. Shorts, vests and sleeveless shirts/tee-shirts are not permitted, nor are items of clothing that display offensive/obscene messages or slogans.

7. Guests are not permitted to wear tracksuits/sports clothing in the Tom Barker Lounge Bar or the Jubilee Bar.


8. The management reserve the right to refuse entry to the Showboat Club at anytime.

9. In the interest of customer safety we operate a random search policy. Refusal to take part in a random search will result in an entry being refused.

To ensure the maximum enjoyment during your stay a few common sense rules must be observed.

1. The Applicants (being the persons listed on the application form) undertake not to do on their own part or permit to be done by persons under their control anything which may in the opinion of the management at the park be or become a nuisance or annoyance or which shall in any way interfere with the quiet or general comfort of other guests at Clarach Bay Holiday Village.

2. Cars must not exceed 8 mph and whenever avoidable, should not be driven on the grass. Where car parks are provided cars should at no time be driven or parked on the grass.
All vehicles must conform to the Road Traffic Act and have current Tax, MOT and insurance.

3. TV and Radios must be kept reasonably quiet at all times.
Laundry may be hung only on window drying racks.
Drying facilities are available on the park.
